Now don’t get me wrong here… I’m not suggesting you disregard the rest of the world, become totally selfish and just think of yourself! My point here is that by becoming successful for yourself, you can relieve some of the pressure of becoming successful for others.
You see, when you’re doing something for yourself but you tell others about it, you immediately put pressure on yourself to succeed. And once you start to feel the pressure, it becomes so much harder to succeed.
So, I’m going to suggest something here that will definitely help. Don’t let the whole world in on your attempts to become successful. Don’t go around telling people what you’re going to achieve or when you’re going to achieve it by. That way, when you miss one of your deadlines, only you know about it… and you can put it right more easily without the feelings of failure building up.
By all means tell your coach or your soulmate about your plans… after all both of those people will be 100% behind you and will help you in times of need, when you require a little nudge to move forward or some encouragement.
As for the rest of the world? Well they’ll notice the difference in you as you become more and more successful. They may even start to ask how you did it… at which point you can share a few tips with them. One of which is… well, I think you know that already!
Make today a great day!
